What to Expect
AUTHENTIC SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERING
Gather with regular people from all walks of life. Calvary is home to a multi-generational, multi-cultural group of believers who treat each other like family. You’ll find Jesus at the center of everything we do. We worship together starting at 10 am but many people like to show up a little early for coffee and hang out in the lobby before service. After worshiping together, kids preK- 5th grade can head to their own children’s ministry. You’ll hear a 30-to-40-minute message about how to practically apply Biblical truth to your real life. After the gathering, you can connect with others and meet new friends in the lobby.
DRESS IN YOUR NORMAL CLOTHES
No need to pretend because Sundays with Calvary are authentic. Dress in your normal clothes. You’ll fit in just fine. You’ll see jeans and work boots next to suits, dresses, and heels. We’re happy you’re here and we want to welcome you home.
FILL OUT A CONNECT CARD AND JOIN IN
Grab a Connect Card on your way in. Fill it out and place it in the drop box after the gathering. A real person will follow up later in the week to help you get connected to what
SIMPLE & SAFE CHILD CHECK-IN
For parents with little humans, our Children’s Ministry has two options available: Nursery for babies and toddlers up to age 3 and Children’s Ministry for pre-K through 5th grade. Your children will receive experienced, grand-motherly care in a safe environment and learn about Jesus on their level while you refresh yourself and receive soul care in the presence of God. You can request a guided-tour of the facility before worship begins.
ASK A HOST TEAM MEMBER FOR HELP
We see Calvary as a family. You’ll see greeters at each entrance on Sunday morning. They are delighted to help you. They can answer your questions, help you find the restrooms, show you your child’s classroom, and help you find a seat in the gathering.
Kid’s Ministry
Calvary is a multi-generational church; our legacy is seeing them win. We aim to empower children to embrace faith, shine for Jesus, and make a difference. We believe that kids have the potential to do amazing things, and our engaging program helps them develop their spiritual gifts and grow in their love for God. By partnering with parents, we support families in their faith journey and encourage children to love, serve well, and represent Christ.
